# Set your Perks savings goal

> In Perks → Settings, a super admin enters a quarterly employee savings goal for India and for the US and selects Save goal. Overview and Home measure savings against it.

Go to **Perks → Settings**. Under **North star goal** there's one row for each Perks country: **Employee savings goal, India** and **Employee savings goal, United States**. You only see a country if your company has Perks employees there or a goal saved for it.

## Before you start

- Only super admins can change the goal. Other admins see the amount with a lock and the note "Only super admins can change goals."
- The goal is for one quarter, in that country's own money: rupees for India, dollars for the US.

## Steps

1. Read the suggestion under the country's name, for example "Per quarter. Suggested: ₹7,600 (₹5 per employee × 1,520 employees, at least ₹2,000 a quarter)." The suggestion is ₹5 per employee in India and $0.01 per employee in the US, with a minimum of ₹2,000 or $5.
2. Type your goal in the box as a whole amount, with no decimals.
3. Select **Save goal**. You'll see "Goal saved".

Each country saves on its own. If you type a new amount and try to leave the page without saving, you're asked first.

## Going back to the suggested goal

Once you've saved a goal, **Reset to suggested** appears next to it. Select it, then **Reset goal** in the box that opens. Choose **Keep this goal** to change your mind. The suggested goal moves as your number of employees changes, so a reset goal won't stay at one figure.

## What happens next

**Perks → Overview** shows savings against the goal as "% of goal", and **Home** shows the same for the country with the most employees. The goal is for a quarter, so when you look at 12 months, Overview measures against four times the goal.

## If something goes wrong

**"No goal to set"**
Perks has no employees in India or the US, or Perks is off. There's nothing to set until it does.

**"Enter a whole amount more than 0."**
The box only takes a whole number above zero.

**"The goal could not be saved."**
Nothing was changed. Try again.

**"Goals could not be loaded."**
Select **Try again**.
