Your yearbook is a PDF of the messages and photos your colleagues wrote before your work anniversary. It's emailed to you on the day, and your anniversary post goes up on the company feed. The email can also carry points or a certificate, depending on how your company set up the award.

Your company turns yearbooks on. If you don't get one, it isn't set up for your milestone.

## Invite colleagues yourself

Some companies let you choose who writes in your yearbook. If yours does, you'll get an email called "Invite Colleagues to share thoughts" before your anniversary. Open the link on the web:

1. **About Yourself.** Upload a photo (JPEG or PNG) and answer the questions, up to 700 characters each. This goes into your yearbook. Select **Save & Proceed**, or **Skip this step**.
2. **Invite.** Search for colleagues and add them, up to 50 at a time.
3. Select **Send Invitation**.

The people you invite get an email asking them to share their thoughts.

## Find it again later

Keep the email, or save the PDF somewhere of your own.

On the web, open the **Milestone** tab in Recognition and select **Service Award History** on the left. It lists your anniversaries with the **MILESTONE DATE** and **MILESTONE COMPLETED**. If there's a download icon under **CERTIFICATE/SERVICE MILESTONE BOOK**, select it to open the file.

## Your retirement book

If your company has retirement books, colleagues are invited to write messages 28 days before your retirement date. The book is emailed to you as a PDF 7 days before you retire, and your reporting manager is copied on that email.

Save the PDF from the email as soon as it arrives, somewhere you'll still have it after you leave.

You can turn the retirement book off. See [Can I hide my birthday or work anniversary from the feed?](/en/help/recognition/milestones-and-celebrations/can-i-hide-my-birthday-or-work-anniversary/).
