# Wish a colleague on their birthday or work anniversary

> Select Write a message under the person's name, on the Today's Birthday or Today's Work Anniversary card on your home feed. It opens their post, where you can like it or comment.

On the web, your home feed shows **Today's Birthday** and **Today's Work Anniversary** when colleagues are celebrating. Your company decides whether these cards appear.

1. Find the person under **Today's Birthday** or **Today's Work Anniversary**.
2. Select **Write a message** under their name. Their birthday or anniversary post opens.
3. Like the post or add a comment.

If there's no **Write a message** link, your company hasn't turned on wishes from these cards. You can send a private greeting instead. See [Send a greeting](/en/help/recognition/recognize-colleagues/send-a-greeting/).

## Work anniversaries

The **Milestone** tab in Recognition shows the **Milestone Feed**, with every work anniversary post in one place. **Upcoming Milestones** on the left lists colleagues with an anniversary coming up.
