# Claim your Vantage Card

> Scan the QR code on your card, or enter its PIN under View Profile → Vantage Card, then select Confirm. Any points go into your wallet straight away.

The back of your Vantage Card (also called a Phygital Recognition Card) has a QR code and a 12-character PIN. Use either one. You need to be signed in to your Vantage Circle account.

## Scan the QR code

1. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera and open the link.
2. Sign in if you're asked. If you land on your home page after signing in, scan the code again.
3. Check the card details. A card with points says "Your Vantage Card worth 500 Points has been successfully scanned". A card without points says "We've successfully scanned your Vantage Card".
4. Select **Confirm**.

## Enter the PIN instead

Use this on a computer, or when a scan doesn't work.

1. Select your profile picture at the top right, then **View Profile**.
2. In the menu on the left, under **More**, select **Vantage Card**. You'll only see it if your company uses Vantage Cards.
3. Under **Enter Pin**, type the PIN exactly as it's printed, capitals included. Select **Submit**.
4. Check the card details and select **Confirm**.

On a phone browser, the account menu doesn't list **Vantage Card**. Scan the code instead. If the scan shows an error, select **Add manually** to get the PIN box.

The card says points are added automatically, but nothing is added until you select **Confirm**.

## What happens next

- **Points.** The card's full value goes into your points wallet straight away. You'll see "We've credited 500 points to your wallet". Select **Redeem Points** to spend them. If you have more than one country wallet, the points go to the wallet for the country the card was made for.
- **Feed post.** If your company uses the recognition feed, an award post with the card's message appears there. Select **Go to Feed** to see it. No post is made if you've turned on **Require my consent and approval before any recognition(s) are published on the feed** in your profile.
- **Email.** You get an award email, unless the award is set up without one. If the award comes with a certificate, it's attached to the email.

A card without points gives you the appreciation only. Its last screen says "A special appreciation message is waiting for you!"

Once you've claimed a card, nobody can use it again, you included.
