How recognition campaigns work
A campaign is a set of badges that employees can give only between a start date and an end date. Everyone gets an email when it starts and a reminder the day before it ends.
A campaign is a set of badges that employees can give only between a start date and an end date. Use one for an event or a theme, such as a Diwali thank-you week or a month on one company value. Campaign badges don’t carry reward points, like any other badge.
Super admins set campaigns up in Recognition → Campaigns, if campaigns are part of your company’s plan.
Statuses
- Scheduled: the start date hasn’t come yet. Employees can’t see its badges.
- Active: running now. Employees can give its badges.
- Completed: the end date has passed.
- Stopped: an admin stopped it before it started.
Completed and Stopped campaigns are listed under Past. A running campaign that’s stopped early shows as Completed.
What employees see
Campaign badges appear only from the start date to the end date. While a campaign runs, its badges come first when employees choose a badge, marked with the time left, such as “Ends in 5 days”.
Each badge’s own settings still decide who can give and receive it: countries, grade groups, tenure and eligibility rules.
Emails and notifications
- On the start date: every active employee in your company gets the invitation email and a notification in the app.
- The day before the end date: every active employee gets the reminder email.
These go to everyone, not only the people who can give the campaign’s badges. A campaign with no badges sends no invitation.
Running more than one campaign
Several campaigns can run at the same time. Each badge belongs to one campaign only.
After a campaign ends
Its badges disappear from Recognition → Badges. They stay tied to the campaign, so they can’t be added to another one. To see the results, select View report on the campaign. It opens the Campaign Badge Report in Recognition → Reports.
