Update your profile details
Select your profile picture → View Profile → Edit Profile, change what you need and select Save Changes. Your company decides which details you can change yourself.
- Select your profile picture at the top right, then View Profile.
- My Profile opens on the My Info tab. Select Edit Profile.
- Change the details you need.
- Select Save Changes. You see “Profile Edited Successfully”.
If there’s no Edit Profile button, your company doesn’t let you change any details yourself. Ask your HR team.
What you can change
Your company decides which details show on your profile and which ones you can edit. Most companies let you change:
- your name, gender and marital status
- your city
- an alternate personal email address
Some details depend on your company and location:
- Your work email can only be changed until you’ve verified it.
- Mobile number, department and country appear only for some companies and locations.
Your employee ID and date of joining can’t be changed here. They come from your company’s records, so ask your HR team to correct them. The same goes for any detail that’s greyed out.
Email and feed choices
Depending on your company and the products it uses, the bottom of Edit Profile has tick boxes like these.
- “Receive occasional mail about special offers (not more than once a week).”
- “Show my birthday on social feed”
- “Activate Service Yearbook and Work Anniversary communication on the feed in the platform”
- “Require my consent and approval before any recognition(s) are published on the feed in the platform”
Tick or untick them, then select Save Changes. For more on birthdays and work anniversaries, see Milestones and celebrations.
Change your language
If your company has turned it on, Edit Profile has a Language list. Pick your language and select Save Changes. You see “You have changed your language to” followed by the language, and you’re signed out. Sign in again to see Vantage Circle in your new language.
If something goes wrong
“Email cannot be changed after validation.” Your work email is verified, so only your company can change it. Ask your HR team.
“This email domain is not allowed for your organization.” Use an email address at your company’s domain.
“Name cannot be empty.” Enter your name before you save.
“Name cannot contain special characters” Remove punctuation such as colons, pipes, square brackets and symbols like @ # $ % & * from your name.
“Invalid mobile number.” Check the number and try again.
A message ending “cannot be changed.” Your company doesn’t let you edit that detail. Ask your HR team.
