Delegation lets a colleague nominate, appreciate or approve awards in your name, for example while you’re on leave. You see Assign Delegation if your company uses delegation and you’re an approver.

Choose someone

  1. Select your profile picture at the top right, then Assign Delegation.
  2. Search for the person by name or email and select them. You can add one person at a time.
  3. Under Allow permissions to -, tick what they can do for you:
    • Nominate(Monetary): nominate people for awards.
    • Appreciate(Non-Monetary): send badges.
    • Approve Awards: approve or decline nominations waiting for you.
    • Winner Selector for Panel Awards: pick panel award winners.
  4. Select Submit.

The person gets an email titled “You have been assigned delegation access by” followed by your name. It lists what you’ve asked them to do.

To give rights to someone else as well, repeat the steps. Each person you’ve chosen is listed with what they can do.

Change or stop it

Under the person’s name, select Edit Permissions, change the ticks and select Submit. Select Remove this person and then Remove to stop it. They get an email titled “Delegation revoked”.

Delegation stays on until you remove it. There’s no end date.

When they act for you

You get an email each time they:

  • nominate: “Nomination has been done on your behalf by” and their name;
  • send a badge: “Appreciation has been given on your behalf by” and their name;
  • approve: “An award nomination has been approved on your behalf by” and their name.

You don’t get an email when they decline a nomination for you. Check Previously Declined under My Approval to see those.

If someone chose you

When you nominate, send a badge or open My Approval, you’re asked to Select an account to continue. Choose Myself to act as you, or the person’s name to act for them. Under their name it says they have chosen you to act on their behalf.

Anything you do on their account is in their name. They’re emailed about your nominations, badges and approvals.

If something goes wrong

“Please select alteast one permission” Tick at least one box before you submit.
