Select Insights in the left panel of your Recognition home page. You see it if your company uses Manager Insights and at least one person reports to you in your company’s records. Your team here means the people who report directly to you. Insights isn’t in the mobile app.

Choose the dates

Insights opens on the last 30 days. Select the date range at the top to pick Last 15 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, Last 1 Year or Custom, then select Apply. You can’t pick dates in the future.

Most numbers follow the dates you pick. Two don’t: the welcome message always looks at the last 30 days, and the recognition timeline always shows 12 months.

What’s on the page

Welcome message. Says what share of your team you’ve recognized in the last 30 days. Guide opens more help.

Summary cards. Use the buttons under the cards to move between them. The first two compare the dates you picked with the same length of time just before, for example “Up by 20% (Vs last period)”.

  • Recognitions given: the number of recognitions your team received in the period, from you and from others.
  • Total members recognized: how many of your team got at least one recognition, from anyone.
  • Feed engagement score of my team: your team’s average feed score, compared with the Org Average. The score is based on likes, comments and recognitions given.
  • My average response time for award approval: approvers only. How long you take on average to approve a nomination after it reaches you, next to the organization average.
  • Nominations you have processed: approvers only. How many you’ve Approved and Declined.

My Team. One card per person, with when you last recognized them, such as “Recognized 12 days ago” or “Recognized long back”. The ring around each photo shows the same thing:

  • green: you recognized them within the last month;
  • orange: 30 to 90 days ago;
  • red: more than 90 days ago, or never.

An M marks someone who manages people too. Select Recognize on a card to appreciate or nominate that person. Download CSV saves your team’s recognitions for the dates you picked.

Recognition Distribution. How your team’s recognitions split between monetary awards and non-monetary badges. Select view more to see each award or badge, with Monetary and Non-Monetary buttons to switch between them.

Recognitions Received. How many recognitions your team got from you (Self) and from Others, split into Monetary (Award) and Non Monetary (Badge). Select view more for the Team Recognition Timeline: a table of each team member’s recognitions over the last 12 months.

Intra Team Recognition. Who in your team recognized whom. Underneath, it lists anyone who hasn’t recognized a teammate in the period.

Team Recognition Values. Which of your company’s values your team was recognized for, and how often.

Managerial Recognition Activity. Shows only if someone who reports to you manages a team. Each bubble is one of those managers. It shows what share of their team they recognized and how many recognitions they gave per person. The dotted lines are the Org Average.

Your company chooses which of these sections managers see, so yours can have fewer.

Look at one person

Select a person’s card or photo to open their overview. You’ll see the recognitions they received, their feed engagement score, their values and a summary of awards and badges. That window has its own date picker.

If the person manages a team, turn on the switch next to their name to see their team’s numbers instead. This is how you check on managers who report to you.

If something goes wrong

You don’t see Insights. Either your company doesn’t use it, or nobody reports to you in your company’s records. Ask your HR team to check your reporting line.

Someone’s missing from My Team, or shouldn’t be there. My Team comes from reporting lines in your company’s employee records. Ask your HR team to fix them.

A section is empty. Nothing matching happened in the dates you picked. Try a longer range, such as Last 90 Days.
