How your feed score works

My Feed Score rates what you've done on the Recognition feed in the last 30 days, from 0 to 100. Appreciations you send count most, then comments, then likes. The most active person in your company scores 100.

My Feed Score sits at the top of the Recognition home page, next to the tabs. It’s a number from 0 to 100 that rates what you’ve done on the feed in the last 30 days. You’ll only see it if your company uses it.

What counts

Three things count, each with its own weight:

  • Each appreciation you send counts 0.5.
  • Each comment or reply counts 0.3.
  • Each like on a post, comment or reply counts 0.2.

Your total is then compared with everyone else’s. The most active person in your company in those 30 days scores 100, and everyone else is scored against them. If you did half as much as that person, you score about 50.

Your score is worked out once a day, so what you do today shows tomorrow. Activity older than 30 days drops off, so your score goes down if you stop taking part.

What the panel shows

Select My Feed Score to open Feed Engagement Score. It shows:

  • “Organization Feed Engagement Score is [number]”, the company figure you’re compared with.
  • “Your Score:” and your number, with a marker on a scale from <30 through 50 to 70+.
  • Whether your score is better or lower than the organization’s score.
  • A tip. At 70 or more it says “Maintain your score by engaging on feed regularly.” Below 70 it suggests giving recognition, commenting and liking.

If your company lets you appreciate colleagues, the panel also has a Recognize button to send one straight away. On older layouts it says Appreciate. To learn how, see Appreciate a colleague.

These details are for the web.
