Share your recognition on LinkedIn
On a badge or award post you received, select Share, confirm, sign in to LinkedIn and post. You can share a link to the post or, if you have one, your certificate.
You can share a badge or award only if you received it, and only if your company has turned sharing on. If you can, Share appears at the bottom of the post on your feed. On some feeds it’s just an upward-arrow icon.
- On the post, select Share.
- If you have a certificate for this recognition, Share this recognition opens. Choose:
- Post: “Shares a link to this feed post.”
- Certificate: “The certificate image posted to LinkedIn. No feed link needed.”
- A warning says the post might be confidential to your organization. Check it’s fine to share, then select Confirm.
- Sign in to LinkedIn in the window that opens, if you aren’t already.
- In You are about to share in LinkedIn, add your own words under Would you like to add something? if you like.
- Select Post.
You’ll see “Successfully shared your post to LinkedIn”. Select Click here to view the post to open it on LinkedIn. To change or delete it later, do that on LinkedIn.
If something goes wrong
You don’t see Share. You didn’t receive this badge or award, or your company has turned sharing off. Greetings and other posts can’t be shared.
“Share to LinkedIn failed. Please try again.” LinkedIn didn’t accept the post. Try again in a few minutes.
“As a demo user you are not eligible to share award post to LinkedIn.” Sharing doesn’t work on demo accounts.
These steps are for the web. Sharing isn’t available in Microsoft Teams.
