Recognize a whole team at once
If your company has the Teams tab, search for a manager to add everyone who reports to them in one go. It works for badges, awards and greetings.
Only some companies have this. If yours does, the first step of Recognize and Greet has two tabs: Colleagues and Teams. If you only see a search box, recognize people one by one instead.
- Start a badge, an award or a greeting as usual.
- On the first step, select Teams. Switching tabs clears anyone you’d already picked.
- Under Search by manager’s name…, find the manager. Their team is everyone who reports to them.
- Select the team. You can add more than one team.
- To leave someone out, open the team’s member list and remove them. A team keeps at least 2 members.
- Check the line in the footer, for example “You’re appreciating 12 members”. Select Next and carry on as usual.
Everyone in the team gets the same badge or award and the same message. The feed shows one post.
How many people
Most companies allow up to 50 people in one recognition, and some allow up to 70. Above 50 the screen warns “Maximum of 50 members can be appreciated at a time” (or nominated, or greeted). Next still works up to 70 people. If sending fails with “More then 50 receivers are not permissible.”, reduce it to 50 people.
For awards, each person’s value and eligibility is checked separately, and the budget has to cover everyone.
These steps are for the web.
