Use this when points went to the wrong person, for example a nomination approved for the wrong employee. You reverse one award at a time.
- Go to Rewards Hub → Reward points and open Revoke points.
- Under Which employee received the award?, search by name or email and pick the person.
- Find the award in the list. Each row shows the award name, who it was from, the points, the country and when it was awarded.
- Open the row menu and select Revoke points, then confirm.
You’ll see “Revoked”. It happens straight away and can’t be undone.
Which awards are listed
Only awards with none of their points spent are listed. If the employee has already redeemed any points from an award, you can’t take it back here. If nothing can be reversed, the page says the employee has no points awarded or has already spent them.
What changes
- The award’s points come off the employee’s balance.
- The award is removed from the employee’s history.
- If the points came out of a manager’s budget, they go back to that budget.
- If the award used a slot from a quota, the slot is returned.
- If other people shared the same award, it stays on the feed for them.
To check the budget side afterwards, see Transactions.
