Vantage Circle

How your points work

Vantage Points and reward points are the same thing: one balance, named by your company. Points have a set value in each country, and you can only spend them on what's in Redeem.

Vantage Points and reward points are the same thing. You have one points balance, and your company chooses what to call it. Most companies use Vantage Points. Yours may use its own name, and that’s the name you’ll see in the top bar and in emails.

Where points come from

Points can reach your balance in several ways. Which ones apply depends on what your company uses.

  • Awards. An award from your manager or HR team can come with points. They’re added when the award goes through, after any approval it needs.
  • Points from your HR team. Your company can add points directly, for example for a festival or a work anniversary.
  • A Vantage Card. Claiming a printed recognition card adds its points. See Recognition card.
  • Cashback from Perks. If your company has Perks, shopping through it earns points back. See Cashback and Vantage Points.
  • Vantage Fit and Pulse. Some companies give points for Vantage Fit challenges or for answering Pulse surveys.
  • Buying points. If your company allows it, Purchase Points on your Points Statement lets you top up your balance.

A badge on its own is a thank-you. It doesn’t carry points.

What a point is worth

Each country has its own rate: how many points make one unit of the local currency. Some companies use their own rates. So the same award can be a different number of points in India and in the United States.

To see your rate, open Points Statement and select the info icon next to your total. At most companies, the page also shows your balance in money, for example “4500 (= ₹450)”.

What you can and can’t do with points

  • Spend them in Redeem. Gift cards, the Amazon Store, merchandise and experiences, depending on what your company offers. See Redeem your points.
  • No cash. Points can’t be paid out as money.
  • No sharing. You can’t send your points to a colleague, a family member or another account.
  • One country at a time. You can spend only the points in the wallet for the country in your profile. If you move country, see Move points to another country’s wallet.
  • They may expire. That depends on your company. See When your points expire.

If you leave your company

When you leave, your company turns off your account. After that you can’t sign in, and you’ll see “Error, User is not active anymore”. Any points left in the account can’t be spent or moved. Your points don’t follow you to a new employer’s Vantage Circle account.

Redeem your points before your last working day.
