Reply to comments with AI help
On Pulse → Comments, select Reply on a comment, write up to 1,000 characters and select Send reply. AI help drafts replies in different tones that you can copy or edit. The employee's name stays hidden and they're told by email.
On Pulse → Comments, select Reply under a comment. A comment that already has replies shows the count, such as Reply (2).
Steps
- The box opens as Start a conversation, or Conversation if there are replies already. The line under the title reads “Employee name hidden in this conversation”, with the department and date.
- Write your reply in the box, up to 1,000 characters.
- For a starting point, select AI help. You’ll see “AI-drafted replies. Send one as it is, or use it as a starting point.” Each draft is labelled with its tone, such as Empathetic or Clarifying.
- Copy puts a draft on your clipboard.
- Use & edit puts it in the reply box so you can change it.
- Select Send reply.
Nothing goes to the employee until you select Send reply. Drafts are written from the question, the comment and the conversation so far. Read them before you use them.
What happens next
The employee gets an email to say there’s a reply. They can answer from the survey conversation, and their answers appear in the same box, labelled Employee. The comment moves to Replied on the Comments page. To show your people how they reply, point them to Answer surveys.
Who sees whose name
- You never see the employee’s name in the conversation. Their messages are labelled Employee.
- Admins see your name on your replies. If your account can’t be found, the reply is labelled HR Admin.
- In the survey conversation on the web, the employee sees your reply with an HR icon and no name.
