Partha Neog, CEO and Co-founder of Vantage Circle, said the Consent Manager mandate will fundamentally reshape system architecture.
"Personalization engines must now be capable of adapting instantly to withdrawn or modified consent. Tech architectures must evolve to support modular feature delivery and real-time consent syncing," he said.
Neog expects a steep rise in operational transparency because every consent action, modification, or revocation must now be logged with an auditable trail. He added that several functions will require explicit consent, especially behavioral nudges, peer recognition visibility, and analytics.
"If data originally collected for rewards and recognition purposes is later used for other purposes, the new purpose may require fresh, specific consent," Neog said.
