Value-Based Profile Badges

Profile Badges are a special form of recognition awarded to users who actively demonstrate organizational values through meaningful contributions and engagement on the platform. These badges recognize employees who consistently appreciate, encourage, and celebrate their colleagues.

Badges are awarded quarterly and remain visible on the user's profile throughout the quarter. At the beginning of every new quarter, badge eligibility is refreshed based on user activity and engagement.

The top 10% of users in each category will earn a Profile Badge.

Users who receive a badge will also get an email notification with the badge attached, making it easy to proudly share the achievement on platforms like LinkedIn.

Value-Based Profile Badges introduce a new way to reinforce organizational culture by recognizing employees who consistently live the company's values. These badges:

• Encourage value-driven behavior
• Increase visibility of cultural contributions
• Promote meaningful peer recognition
• Strengthen employee engagement and motivation

Core Concept

The system evaluates recognitions received by users and identifies individuals who consistently demonstrate specific organizational values.

Example:

• If a user frequently receives recognitions tagged with "Innovation," they may become eligible for the Innovation Profile Badge.
• If another user consistently receives recognitions aligned with "Teamwork," they may earn the Teamwork Profile Badge.

Badge eligibility is calculated quarterly, and only the top-performing 10% of users in each value category will receive the badge.

Organizational Value Mapping

• Every organization can define its own organizational values.
• Each organizational value will be mapped to a corresponding Profile Badge name.
• Badge names may differ across organizations depending on their configured values and culture.

Notification Experience

Users who earn a Profile Badge will receive:

• An email notification announcing the achievement
• The earned badge attached within the email
• Encouragement to share the achievement externally on platforms like LinkedIn

Where Profile Badges Will Be Visible

Users will be able to view Profile Badges across multiple touchpoints within the platform, including:

• User profiles
• Comments
• Likes and engagement sections

Availability

Value-Based Profile Badges will be available across:

• Vantage Circle Web Platform
• Vantage Circle Mobile App (iOS and Android)
• Vantage Circle App for Microsoft Teams
